Visual, textile, and performing artist. Printmaker, creative writer, educator.

Kent has a strong drive to always be making and focuses this energy through many different media. She is well versed in many printmaking techniques, including lithography, relief printing, and silkscreening. Kent also has experience with book binding, typesetting, and photographic and digital printmaking processes. She explores line and shadow through drawings and sculptures, often made in tandem, and has described her collages as "having conversations with themselves as I simultaneously have conversations with myself." Often working from home, Kent does not let the lack of studio limit the ambition or scale of her work.

Kent has taught many workshops to both adults and youth on a variety of topics, including silkscreening, block printing, assemblage sculpture, and theater techniques. She is currently pursuing her MAT to become a certified arts educator in New York state.
