As part of the Advanced Printmaking class at Bennington College, professor and printmaker Thorsten Dennerline organized a group show for students to exhibit their best work of the semester, in lieu of a final portfolio requirement.  For her piece, Kent took the stone lithographs she had printed over the previous months, tore them into hundreds of pieces, then instinctively stitched them back together, creating the large, ambling installation Welcome Home, which Kent affectionately refers to as her “wall monster.”
